Moving an Item of Equipment in the App
⚠️ ATTENTION: You must first create your equipment Locations using the web version before you can move pieces of equipment in the mobile app.
ℹ️ NOTE: To issue an item of equipment to a team member go to the specific item of equipment in the mobile app.
To do this:
- Open the D4H Equipment Management app
- Use the Search Bar to type in the piece of equipment or Scan the barcode/QR code/RFID tag if you have already configured it
- OR from the home screen click on the white ☰ menu
- Select Browse
- Select the applicable equipment category
- Click on the applicable kind
- Click on the piece of equipment you are issuing
- Once you have opened the equipment item you wish to issue to a team member click on ⇆ move icon
- Select the location you are moving the item to
- Click Move Item Here
Scanning the Destination Barcode/QR Code/NFC tag to Move an Item
When trying to move an item of equipment, you can scan the destination by QR or NFC scan.
⚠️ ATTENTION: In order to use barcoding you must first configure equipment barcoding on the web app and also ensure your equipment management mobile app settings are configured.
To do this:
- Open the D4H Equipment Management app
- Select the Barcode Scanner/QR code/RFID icon at the bottom right hand side
- Scan the barcode of the item you are moving
- Once you have opened the equipment item you wish to move click on ⇆ move icon
- Select the Barcode Scanner/QR code/RFID icon again but now scan the destination barcode
- Select the location you are moving the item to
- Click Move Item Here
