Assigning a Default Channel Status to a Play
You can configure your Play to automatically begin with a defined Channel Status. For example, in your organization a Severe Storm activates at a Level 2 Channel Status but a Cyber Threat activates at a Level 1. You can adjust these statuses throughout the course of your response by changing the Channel Status field on your Situation Report.

âšī¸ NOTE: You must configure the channel statuses first before you are able to assign.
To assign a default channel status to a play:
- Go to the Admin Area
- Expand Plays
- Select Plays
- Click the orange edit icon on the play you wish to configure
- Select the default channel status in the v dropdown menu under Channel Status
- Select Save
