Assigning a Default Channel Status to a Play

You can configure your Play to automatically begin with a defined Channel Status. For example, in your organization a Severe Storm activates at a Level 2 Channel Status but a Cyber Threat activates at a Level 1. You can adjust these statuses throughout the course of your response by changing the Channel Status field on your Situation Report.

🔑 ACCESS LEVEL: Account Owner or Editor

ℹī¸ NOTE: You must configure the channel statuses first before you are able to assign. 

To assign a default channel status to a play:

  1. Go to the Admin Area
  2. Expand Plays
  3. Select Plays
  4. Click the orange edit icon on the play you wish to configure
  5. Select the default channel status in the v dropdown menu under Channel Status
  6. Select Save
