Assigning a Role

Roles can be assigned to Personnel in your Incident Management account (Operations Center platform).  Assigning roles can help with managing tasks during an event / incident.  See linking a role to a task article for more information on how to do this.

ℹ️ NOTE:  Roles can also be assigned from the personnel module following similar instructions as above. You will locate the person whom you wish to assign the role too.

WEB APP

To assign a role:

  1. Access the open channel
  2. Go to the Roles
  3. Locate the role you wish to assign
  4. Select the orange Checkmark icon 
  5. Select the person who will be assigned the role from the dropdown menu
  6. Select the orange Checkmark icon to save


MOBILE APP

  1. Open the Incident Management Mobile App
  2. Access the incident channel
  3. Select Roles
  4. Locate the role you wish to assign
  5. Select the person who will be assigned the role from the Assigned field
  6. Click Save
