Completing Password Resets

A forgotten password can be reset on the D4H sign-in screen or by your D4H administrator. 

⚠️ ATTENTION: If you are receiving an error message when trying to access the password reset link in the email this could be because the link you received in the email is no longer valid. The password reset link is only valid for 24 hours after it is sent. If you have not actioned your password reset within 24 hours and the link is invalid, you will need to request a new password reset.

ℹ️ NOTE: Password reset emails will come from a generic @[region].d4h.com, so ensure you are checking your spam/junk folder if you are not receiving the password reset email in your inbox.

Resetting your Own Password

Web App

  1. Access your team's D4H URL
  2. Click Forgot your password?
  3. Type in your email or username associated with your account
  4. Select Continue to have a password reset link sent
  5. Click the password reset link in the email received
  6. Type in your new password following the password requirements
    1. If you have already activated a better way to sign-in or became a new user July 14, 2023 or after, you'll receive a password reset code via email. This code is essential for you to enter when updating your password.
  7. Select Reset My Password or Next
  8. Sign-in using your new log in credentials

Mobile App

  1. Open the applicable mobile application
  2. Select your region
  3. Select Continue
  4. Click Forgot your password?
  5. Type in your email or username associated with your account
  6. Select Continue to have a password reset link sent
  7. Click the password reset link in the email received
  8. Type in your new password following the password requirements
    1. If you have already activated a better way to sign-in or became a new user July 14, 2023 or after, you'll receive a password reset code via email. This code is essential for you to enter when updating your password.
  9. Select Reset My Password or Next
  10. Sign-in using your new log in credentials

Resetting a Member's Password

This article is for account administrators who need to send a password reset to their members.

Personnel & Training, Equipment Management & Incident Reporting

To reset the password for one of your members:

  1. Go to the 👤 user menu in the top right
  2. Go to Access Control
  3. Scroll down to the name of the user whose password you want to reset 
  4. Select Reset Password from the last column 

Incident Management

To reset the password for one of your team members:

  1. Go to the Admin Area
  2. Expand Collections
  3. Open Personnel
  4. Double click on the Member's name
  5. Select Reset Password from D4H Incident Management Account section
